Okay, so I'm a little behind. A little. Okay, maybe a touch more than that.
I still have friends that go to school and this tends to be a paper submitting week or something, because I spent my weekend going over 3 papers for spelling and grammar. Huh, trust me with that? I don't recommend it, but hey! :)
Then, we have four days worth of fire alarm tests (our yearly test) that are being done in the building... which should have been almost done. So while it should be quiet we have the fire department walking through the place like they own it. Obviously, only a crazy woman can't appreciate a good fireman, but I might just go crazy if I have to hear any more of the alarm!
To add to that, on Friday we had a major power outage most of the day, some other power supply place had a fire, so there was no electricity. That was fun. So again, I got nothing accomplished. And that's also why the fire department have to return today. YAY!!! :( Apparently they can't do their work in the dark. Jeez! :)
So today, I have to finish 2 1/2 chapters and send them off to my CP. Yeah. No problem! :)
What did everyone else do on the weekend?

Firemen???? I'll be right over!
I had a very quiet weekend. Read an entire novel (see my blog for detes), did housework, blew my nose alot, and aside from playing a few computer games with my boys, didn't touch my keyboard.
Good luck with the firemen!
Ugh. I hate fire drills. It's way too cold to go stand outside till they decide to turn them off.
I didn't do too much this weekend. Just a lot of reading and some shopping.
I'm sure there is a plot to a novel there somewhere. A woman goes nuts on a cute firefighter because the alarms keep going off. And he has to help her...get over it.
Other than the excitement with my husband, I had a quiet weekend. I got lots of writing done so I'm happy.
My son-in-law is a fireman in Aussie and they get a kick out of fire drills and seeing what people grab to take out with them.
I had a patchy weekend writing - went to see Music & Lyrics with a friend and we had a great time. I love Hugh Grant and admire Drew Barrymore.
Sunday I wrote then watched the Oscars... yeah I know.
Had a fantastic writing day on Saturday -- finished the new ending to one novel and got significant rewriting done an another. :)
Yesterday I didn't get as much done writing-wise, but errand-wise and housework-wise, I did okay.
Sounds like you had a wild weekend what with all the alarms and fire drills and firemen and such! :)
Fireman, ooooh!
Other than family crisis, pretty much sat around on the couch watching TV with my hair all weird and cowlicky while the kids ran rampant.
